 Kelowna Rock School is a music school that is very serious about what it does, but tries not to take itself too seriously. Music is, after all, an expression of joy. We make every effort to allow the student to grow musically while having fun along the way.

To provide a safe, supportive, and competent environment where young people wishing to become rock and roll musicians can receive appropriate instruction from a staff dedicated to maximizing the student’s learning opportunities.
Along with learning the intricacies of their chosen instrument, students will have the opportunity to experience the many aspects of playing in a band such as:
- Live performances
- Writing and performing their own songs.
- Photo shoots
- Music video production
No matter what the style of music, the staff at Kelowna Rock School will provide the training and mentorship that will enable students to experience the success and pleasure of making their own music.
The owner, Tony McMillan, has a Bachelor degree in music education from UBC, and a Masters degree in Curriculum Development from Gonzaga University of Spokane, Washington. He also has 15 years of experience teaching practical arts in BC public schools.
